A nice red drum caught in the surf
Imagine being on a remote barrier island with few, if any, other people or boats around. Some of your party are free to roam the remoted beach while you wait for the big one to bite. Peak season in the surf is late June-November, catching primarily red drum and black drum. Trout, flounder, sharks, rays are also caught on occasion. Surf trips are limited to 4 anglers and can run 4-6 hours.
