ECO-TOUR EXCURSIONS:
WHAT: Custom trips aimed at discovering the coastal ecology of the Lowcountry. Interested in seeing the abundant wildlife and how it all relates to areas unique marine ecosystem, or maybe taking a stroll on an uninhabited beach collecting seashells? Amber and Captain Bo are both certified Master Naturalists, and pride themselves on their knowledge of the local flora and fauna. Learn how to throw a cast net, identify shorebirds and seashells, bait a crab pot, and pull a seine net. Great fun for the entire family!
Sample eco-tours might include:
- Salt Marsh Ecology tour: View one of the most productive ecosystems in the world and learn how this system functions in the tidally influenced waters of Beaufort County. During the harvesting season, we’ll stop over to pick some oysters/clams for you to take home.
- Barrier Island Ecology tour to Pritchards Island, Little Capers Island, or Bull Point: Learn about the dynamic nature of a barrier islands as we walk the beach learning about coastal erosion, marine invertebrates, and loggerhead sea turtles.
- Dolphin and Birding tour: Search the endless miles of tidal creeks as we look for Bottlenose dolphins, shorebirds, and other migratory birds in-season.
- Sunset Cruises: Enjoy the best Beaufort has to offer - epic sunsets overlooking the marshes of the Beaufort River and surrounding estuary.
INCLUDES: All nature interpretation, fuel, cooler/ice, and special gear for the excursion. Customers are welcome to bring their own sunscreen, beach gear, beverages and food for the excursion.
RATES:
THREE-HOUR tour: $275 total
Rates are for 1 to 6 people.
DEPOSIT:
$100 deposit required at time of reservation. A 14-day advance notice of cancellation is required for a full refund. If the trip is cancelled by the captain due to inclement weather, a full refund will be given.

FISHING TRIPS:
WHAT: Custom trips to area inshore fishing spots, artificial reefs, and wrecks. We also specialize in surf fishing trips to local barrier island beaches.
Methods of fishing will vary from sight casting, trolling, bottom fishing, and live baiting. No experience is necessary and we welcome children ages 7 and up.
INCLUDES: All required fishing licenses, tackle, rods/reels, bait, ice, fuel, and fish cleaning service. Customers must bring their own sunscreen, drinks, food, small cooler, and any other personal gear.
RATES:
HALF-DAY (4-hours): $400 total
FULL DAY (8-hours): $600 total
Rates are for 1 to 6 anglers. Although the boat can accommodate up to six anglers, this can make for rather tight quarters, and does not allow everyone to fish at the same time. An ideal number of anglers is 2 to 4, but the choice is ultimately yours!
Three quarter day trips can also be arranged if you would like to extend a half-day trip.
