The 2012 summer season is getting close. If you would like to go fishing with Capt Bo, please call, email, text, or contact me via Facebook so we can discuss options, pricing, and availibility.

This is the time of year when repairs and maintenance take priority. A new Fusion sound system has been installed in the boat, lights replaced, cushions and seats are being reupholstered, new water pump installed. The trailer for the skiff has been rebuilt.

Hit the wrecks with live minnows and fiddler crabs. Managed 6 or so reds, 1 sheepshead, 1 black drum, 2 weakfish, and a gazillion black sea bass.

Fished the low water in the mouth of Port Royal Sound for bull reds. Used live crabs cut in half and fresh mullet. Didn't get a bite! I think the big reds have moved back offshore.

Last day of shrimp bait season, and went with my father out of Station Creek. We caught our limit in 3 or 4 passes.

Fished in the surf on a rather cool day. Caught around a dozen red drum, most in the "slot".
Fripp island was very busy the summer of 2011, and lots of visitors are wanting to go fishing. Don't wait until you get here to call your captain of choice, they will probably already be booked.
If your passion is ecological adventures (birding, salt marsh, beach excursions), tours are available to interpret and identify area wildlife and discuss local ecology.
